So I just joined the bike world by purchasing a 02 F4i that supposedly needed a fuel pump. After a friend of my friend who supposedly works on bikes I’m left with a bike with a broken tank and a few other things. Anyways I have a bike that’s getting no spark or fuel prime, BAS checks out I switched relays and and checked the ignition with a volt meter everything seemed to check out. However I noticed none of the relays kick when I turn the key over so not sure what that means. However I have to fix the tank to fix the other issues with no start or prime. So I have a tank and gasket that I just ordered brand new and I’m curious about if I need to use a sealant on the gasket and what order to tighten the bolts in. I’m decently skilled on cars but I’ve never worked on bikes so any suggestions is good here. Thank you guys in advance
