Ok so I have a 2001 F4i and I rode it last thursday with no issues and then friday I went to start it in the morning and it wouldnt turn over. I can get it to turn on for a few seconds and idle around 500 rpms and then as soon as I give it throttle it dies, but even if I dont give it gas it still dies after about 3-5 seconds, but it also doesn't start every time. The fuel pump primes, there is spark, and I checked all the fuses its also on a full tank. Battery is fully charged and if I spray starter fluid in it starts just fine but dies after it stops running on it. So ive went over every wire, checked my fuel pressure regulator, and even pulled the fuel line off of the fuel rail to make sure the pump was working. I tried some more with it today and i lifted the tank a little and moved it around and got it to run at 1500rpms for awhile, but then it went right back to running like crap. Anyone able to lead me in a direction on how to fix this?
