f4i clutch cable adjustment

Default f4i clutch cable adjustment

Im having a hard time with my adjustment of my clutch cable and ive tried adjusting it all the way out on the engine side and all the other things i could of tried and lever still has no tension??

No. also it is properly routed

The housing is routed. The cable could be broken inside. See if both ends move in tandem.

it's a brand new cable it's not broken I already tested it and the old one as well

if you take the cable off, you can move the arm on the 'engine side' by hand and feel the engagement point. if you can't, then something has popped out. take the clutch cover off.

There is still tension on the spring so i thing im good in terms of engagement

yeah but there's always tension on that spring, even if you have the cover off. if you pull on the arm, you should hit a spot where you can't pull it by hand anymore (this is the end of clutch freeplay)

Where did you get the new cable from? Maybe it's the wrong one.

Its the right cable, i ordered it from amazon a while back just been sitting
