F4 i for a starter?

Whenever anyone asks this in a forum, everyone automatically says "nooooooo, get a 250." Truth is a lot of people start on 600s because they want a bike that looks and sounds good. Most people who start out on a 250 or 500 sell it within a few months once they get used to it. I started out on my F4i 2 years ago and have had no problems at all. The attractive thing about the F4i is that the riding position is a little more upright than most sport bikes so it's a little more comfortable. It's a forgiving bike but you just gotta keep your ego away from the throttle. Ive never had mine even come close to coming up on me so I don't where that came from an above poster. Just make sure you take the MSF course and pay attention. Be careful out there and watch for other people.

I can definitely understand the keeping my ego away from the throttle. I've been thinking that as long as I respect the bike and take the MSF course I'd be alright. Hopefully I'll be able to get the money together by the end of summer. I'll keep you guys posted on whatever I buy. Thanks for the help
