If the F1 light is constantly on check your oil level it might be too low.If its flashing and you don't have an O2 sensor then maybe the previous owner replaced the ECU with a california model one and thats possibly the reason it throws that code.

Question

so basically your saying that nothing is wrong with the bike then? cause it runs fine and everything but the f1 light just keeps throwing me the o2 sensor code. do you think the previous owner maybe took it out because i dont need it here in utah?

If it originally came with an o2 sensor and replaced the the exhaust without an o2 sensor hole, then he might have disconnected the sensor and left it open.I don't recall where the sensor would be but look by the rear shock and see if there is an open plug any where.

Nah you need a small wire like a 24 guage wire to jump it. As far as the plug if it is missing then I would get the o2 sensor eliminator from dynojet cost is only $15.00 maybe get it at any motorcycle shop.Just plug it in and you are done.

hey guys i think i found the problem. I found this switch that had all the wires cut on it. I took some pics of it to show you guys. Is this the oxygen sensor switch? What do you guys think i should do. put an o2 sensor on the bike or just buy the o2 sensor illiminator?
