Default Extending brake lines

I am going to get the Convertibars and I can see where the stock line will probably not be enough, so, is there a simple way to extend them such as with some type of adapter for the top line/fitting? I would very much like to avoid spending the extra $100 on SS lines.

Are there any bikes which have a similar brake line setup that would be a little longer than ours?

ETA - would this work?

http://www.roadlessgear.com/page/RGL/PROD/SU/RG317

I'm guessing all I need is a short line that has a female end where I can screw the existing banjo bolt into and then the banjo bolt on the other side for the reservoir..?

HK, we're about trying to answer peoples questions here.

madman, I don't know of too many people with extended swingarms, but here's one you might want to ask: https://cbrforum.com/forum/members/mralbdamminc-28649/

where did u get convertibars!??! lucky

if they are new they come with all the lines you need, or thats what they say at least, if they are not new then get those extended lines to come with them-bc youll need the throttle, clutch, and brake lines all extended

Jesus Christmas I am not extending my swingarm.

These are two lines that if I was to go stainless would run $80+ minimum unless I measured them out and ordered a universal set or something. Not really worth it to me.

I'm still waiting on some other parts for another month or so and I haven't ordered the Convertibars yet while I research my options.

It looks like the extended lines are an option for the Convertibars no matter where you buy them, they're never just included. Looking at their install page and other posts, it appears the only line that will be an issue for a 3" rise will be the brake line. If you want more than that, you have to worry about the others.

The front brake line is a Y, and at the top I could see how a short brake line extension would probably work just fine for this project. I just hope it's that simple.
