Question Exhaust help

I`m new to the forum and thought this would be the place to get the right answer. I have a 2001 f4i, I am looking for a slightly louder exhaust so people will hear me and not cut me off anymore. I also live where the surrounding towns are cracking down on loud exhaust. I dont want to set off car alarms either. I know there is a decibel limit to go by but cant seem to get the same answer from different people. I am looking for a carbon slip on with a deep tone, but within the law. Am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Any help would be appreciated.

If your running a stock right now, any of the aftermarket pipes wont be a really great increase in loudness. I use a highmount Two Bros C5 pipe. I love the deeper tone of it and it does seem to be a bit louder than stock, but not much louder. If your willing to break your towns laws a bit, get a lower exit motogp style exhaust. A much better method to be noticed by other drivers isnt a loud pipe though, wear bright clothing/jackets, and always signal your turns.

I have a buddie that always says " If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride correctly could do." So if you havent had the MSF course yet, i strongly suggest it...

Thanks for the suggestions . I like the two brothers line of exhaust. I have been riding for over 20 years and took the MSf course about 5 years ago. It really made me a defensive rider and more alert to traffic.Did not think about brighter colors, must have missed that somewhere. Thanks for your input.

I may be a bit biased but I love the sound of my micron high mount. Its deeper than stock but not annoying at high engine speeds.

I have a Yoshimura TRS carbon fiber slip-on. The sound is nice and deep and it also comes with a volume insert to drop the decibels a bit more. Installation was a breeze took me about 30 minutes with about 10 of them walking down the street to get my drill kit. Also comes with really good instructions in case you're not very mechanic savoy. The pipe looks awesome on the bike and isnt as bulky looking as stock. IMO it looks better than the Two Bros and the sound is just a little higher tone and a little softer.
Heres a pic, it sucks cause its from an iPhone
