Default engine won't start after fairings removed?

hi everyone,

i recently removed all the fairings on my f4i (including headlights) to get them repainted.. after i have done so, the bike won't start (when its naked).. does anyone know why this is? is there any safety mechanism behind this?

thanks in advance!

The bank angle sensor is attached to the headlight wiring harness, without it the bike will not start.

I learned the hard way. What the guys have said is usually the case. Once you plug in the fairing try it and it should start straight away.

No the BAS wont allow the pump to prime. You dont plug the fairing in, you plug the headlight in.
