this is what happened. i redlined my bike in first and second gear and motor started knocking loud.slowed down oil light came well blinking on and off and bike killed.started it back up now it has a bad tapping noise oil is full......oil light not comming on anymore.......and it only does it when i rev it not at a idle at all........any help would be great thx.

 

Was the oil full the whole time or was it low and then you filled it up after the fact?

Loud tapping and oil lights is usually not good.

Sounds to me like you hurt the motor. If it is a tapping then its probably the valves. If its knocking then you probably threw a bearing, most likely a connecting rod bearing and the motor will have to be torn apart to fix.

 

Sounds like you broke a valve spring. Check your oil pan and see if you have shavings on your plug
