Very easy to do. The manual shows you where the drain plug and filter are and should tell you how much oil you need, etc...

And switch to full synthetic, just make sure it is motorcycle oil and not car oil.

I didnt take off my Fairing But the filter was hard to take off the first time, I used a strap wrench. I will use a K&N next time it has a nut on the end

Who removes the fairing for an oil change? LOL

Dude, you can take the filter off by going in through the front. Get your filter socket with a 4" extension, turn the wheel all to one side and it is right there.

I change the oil every few weeks and have yet to remove the fairing.

Agreed, I didn't remove my fairing, just used and extension with my socket wrench with the wheel turned all the way to the left, and it only took 15 minutes for the oil change.

Thanks for the apoligy....
