Default Engine cuts off at random times.

Hey, so i just purchased a bike not long ago. Ive put roughly 500miles onto this bike before it started to act up. First it was a flash of the FI light followed by a loss of throttle response, then it was like that never happened. The following day i was riding roughly 80mph on the freeway, and lost all power to the bike, it lasted for 1 or 2 seconds then the dash it up and was able to start the bike still rolling down the freeway mind you. It happened that way about 3 more times before i got it home. I jumped the service connector and came back with the following codes, 1, 2, 8, 9, 11 and 19. That was on Monday of this week. I went out tonight to start the bike, put the key into the bike and the dash remained dead, when i stood the bike to the position that it would be in if i was going to go for a ride and the dash lit up, and it turned over. i reset the codes on the bike and checked after a quick ride and nothing was coming up. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone have any insight into this problem?

Not able to help with those codes sorry but how about looking at your “bank angle sensor”.

So i was playing around under my dash checking grounds, and lo and behold i had a short between my headlights that was causing the bike to shut off randomly and when the connection was good again i would receive power back. Thank you for your help Wes. i was glad to find a short and nothing else
