Default Elevation change mods?

I'm heading out west this summer with my bike. Do I need to do any modifications due to the elevation change. I'm currently in Florida at sea level and will be heading to a place that is 3100ft. I have read of some people saying to rejet the carbs. Can anyone spread some light on the situation.

P.S. I will also be doing some trackdays out there as well

No, you'll be OK. The bike ought to be able to compensate for the altitude. You'll be able to run a lower octane rating (85) once you're there.

...and if you go up Everest a supercharger will take care of that.
