Electrical problem?
Hello,
I rode my honda cbr f4i 2001, with couple of guys, when we started pushing the bikes, I mean racing, my bike shut off and turned back on, got FI light on, I thought the restart of the motorcycle gonna help, but after that it shut off again and again FI light, I thought it's something with fuel, so I started heading home.
Close to the highway, I heard loud pop, huge backfire I guess, because I heard it even with my music on. The bike started to shut off, and turn back on, so I pulled over. Thought gonna wait for couple of minutes and I will be able to drive back home, but there wasn't any electricity left, no lights, switched the key, clock dissapeared from the cluster, and that's it...
When I got back home, wanted to charge the battery, but it doesn't even charge, so now I'm thinking I have dead battery that doesn't have juice left.
BUT I WANT TO KNOW IF THE ALTERNATOR COULD BURNED MY BATTERY COMPLETLY SO IT WENT DEAD ?
