On my 02 f4i the bike does not show the engine coolant temperature on the gauge cluster. The bike is not throwing a fi code 7 (ect malfunction) but not displaying the temp. could it be the sensor or wiring. i have not gotten a chance to pull out the multimeter and test it that way, trying to see if someone else experienced this.

 

It could be the sensor.
The sensor has 2 circuits in it, one for the FI and the other for the gauge. Only the FI circuit will throw a code because it controls fuel mixture.

 

I did not think about it being a 2 circuit sensor. Thanks for the reply
