I bought my bike in January and of course wanted to ride it. I waited about a week and a half for the snow and ice to melt... but it didn't exactly melt on the country roads like it did in town and I wiped out. I scratched the stator cover and that was about it. I have huge legs and I think that's what saved the bike. Most people here have probably dropped one at some time or another and this is a good bike to drop, it's almost bulletproof. If you had dropped any other bike there probably would have been more damage and costs.
