Default So I dropped my bike today

I'm on a hill, and my foot got tangled on something, i'm not sure it happened so fast, and I dropped my bike on the gear side. I picked it up and there was no noticible damage physically...when i got on, I popped it back into neutral and it started up after a few trys and off I go to work with shame in my heart. [&o] Anyways, just a minute ago I get off work, go out to my bike, and it won't pop into neutral, I sit and toy with it for a while and it finally does. Then as I'm riding I notice that it feels....funny...when shifting to second from first. What did I mess up? It didn't fall very hard but I can tell something is wrong...any help would be greatly appreciated...

With luck, all thats happened is the linkages are a bit out or jammed (that the bits that go from the gear lever to little rubber boot) You should be able to jiggle the long rod. If its tight, you can loosen it by using those adjusters on either end of the rod (not to much). Check to see that the gear lever itself is not bent & touching the rod or up against anything else.

Just checked it, the rod jiggles and nothing is bent or touching anything where it shouldn't be, I just got back to work so I can't ride it right now to check it out but I'll check in the morning when I get off. Thanks for the help
