Dropped bike, found a replacement fairing of different color. How hard to swap?
I've got a red/black f4i which dropped in my drive way. The right fairing took most of the damage.
I found a replacement fairing but its from a silver and black f4i. Is the swap a simple matter of changing the decals? How hard would that be and where could I find matching red/black decals?

usually there is a coat of paint underneath the decals. so you have a base of red and on top is the black decal or vice versa depending on the year of your bike. im pretty sure you have the black decals with the red paint. go to a body shop and paint that side to match and stick on the decals that you can order from ebay or one of the sponsors of cbrforum.com.
personally, it would be cheaper for you just to repaint both sides to the factory red without adding the decals but you do whats best for you.
