RE: driven sprocket kit?
$180 isa typical price at the discount internet stores. For a street rider I think -1 front and stock rear is agreat setup, you will definately notice an improvement in acceleration and when riding on the freeway your bike is not revving like crazy.
I'm running 520 -1/+2 right now and 70 mph is 7k rpm in 6th gearwith a speedohealer, so it should be fairly accurate. On the track I can hit 150mphat the rev limiter.I'll be switching to a +1 rear this spring because it suits the track I ride at better.

That was my thinking also. The -1 in the front gives you tremendous amount of low end torque. The top end doesn't suffer that much, the top end that I had before was 165 but I think that was a bit off, because the faster you go, the more variance there is to the speedometer. I put in a speedohealer and calibrated it, so I know that I was speeding and hit 155 and couldn't go any faster. Yah I preach not to speed and I did it. We all do, I just don't tell too many people that I do.

Seems like a good price for me. I went with -1 in the front. If you did -1 and +2 in the rear, your rpms would be too high personally and I want to keep that gas mileage and not lose so much top end. Plus your chain will wear out faster when you do the -1+2 conversion.
