Unhappy Does a failing CCT cause whole bike vibration?

I have a vibration that get's bad from 5k on up but is always there.

Does a failing CCT make the bike vibrate? I've never felt this before. My bike has 13,400 miles on it.

My bike vibrates so bad in handlebars, footpegs, everywhere. It vibrates bad sitting in neutral reving, it's terrible, I rode 130 miles today, it was rough.

the sticky does cover just bout all the symptoms, if its not in there then u prolly dont have a cct issue. but if u think about it, a failing cct could cause slack in the cam chain and that could cause some vibration, if u r getting the rattling at 5-6k rpms replace it and see if that helps. if not its prolly something else internal in your enigne causing it if its doing it in nuetral.

sounds like u need to replace it and see if that helps.-and the sticky was made for questions like this

Dang.... never knew what that cct sticky was about until this... my bike vibrates like crazy right around 5k and makes a ton of noise, typically once warmed up.

and this whole time I thought it was valve noise... dang..

wonder if the one from my old f4 motor will work. that one had no noise

Highly doubt its the cct. I would check the valves and replace the spark plugs.

It is weird, on a cold start it is quite as heck... until I literally hit about 5k and then instant noise and then from there on out it is noise until the motor is on a cold start again. sounds nasty too
