Default DIY Startup & Fuel Pump Prime Troubleshooting F4i 01-06

.WHY DOESN'T MY BIKE START??? WHY DOESN'T MY FUEL-PUMP PRIME???

Most of time, this is wiring issue; disconnected, corroded connectors or broken wires. DO NOT shotgun pile of parts in desperation!!! You'll be replacing perfectly-working parts with brand-new perfectly working parts and nothing will change; symptoms will persist. A lot of times, people will replace working high-quality OEM parts with low-quality aftermarket parts and introduce additional errors & faults into system. End up going around in circles chasing one problem after another.

Instead, trace path of electricity from source: battery, downstream towards individual components and measure every junction along way. Where your measured numbers differs from ideal, that's area to look at closer for faults. Only when you've positively identified part with different measured number compared to what manual says they should be, then it would be considered bad and time to replace it.

Most problems (98%) are at beginning of chain: battery, battery cables, starter-solenoid, fuses, ignition & start/stop switches and relays. End components such as ECU, fuel-pump, injectors, coils, plugs, crank/cam sensors are usually not issue. Those won't work if they don't get proper signals from upstream.

How to use multimeter - https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials...multimeter/all

How to measure wire end-to-end to determine if it's good or broken:

0. measure battery voltage, volts = ??? , very 1st test before doing ANY troubleshooting
Pull headlight fuse to not kill battery during these tests. Keep trickle-charger on battery.

IGNITION SWITCH - 1st stop for power from battery. Measure by backprobing connector where ignition-switch plugs into harness.

1. measure red wire going into ignition switch, should be same +12v as battery
if zero, measure resistance of 30-amp main-fuse and resistance of red wire end-to-end, want 0-ohms for both

I have an F4i that has no fuel prime and need to know how to follow the electrical circuit with my volt meter to find the issue.

I am aware of the issues involving:
-9v diode / pink wire to ECU
-Bank Angle Sensor
-Kick Stand Safety Switch
-Fuse Box
