Dirt is fine, but don' t try to take gravel roads. You will lay it down, the tires were not designed for gravel roads. Try not to go to fast down the dirt roads, it will pick up debris and get on your chain. Just make sure youlube your chain frequently.

haven't taken the F4i down any gravel roads, but i took my 00 R6 down aroad with real big loose gravel. the rear tire was spinnin and the front tire was digin inand it was all i could do to keep it on 2 wheels.[8D]
