First thing is... welcome!

Next I'm not too sure about lowering your bike but I'm sure there are some options, maybe check one of the other categories in this forum or do a search?

Finally for learning to ride any street bike I would recommend taking a safety course, with that you will be able to graduate with your license and get a little insurance discount too. After the course if you feel you still need time to adjust to the RR before getting right out there on the street you could try to find a nice controlled environment (empty school parking lot or whatever) to start out slow and get to know the steering, controls and such...before long it will be like second nature. Know your limits, ride safe and enjoy that new machine, they are awesome!!!

Thanx for the advice!! I really want to ride this bike but I also don't want to look like a fool on the ground!! I am taking a safety course and will definitely drive it first in a controlled area until I know how it plays!! I can't wait till I am ridin down the street on this. I am kinda short and a girl so my size kinda chnages things with this bike. I am having a kit on it from the dealer that will lower it about 3inches in back and three in. on the front tree.

Welcome to the forum....Start slow, definetly take the course. Any riding tips will help you on the road. Sounds like a really nice bike wouldn't want anything to happen to yourself or the machine.
Post some pics when you get a chance.

Hello & Welcome!!

EXTREMELY DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!!! I don't recommend lowering the bike, but you may want to take itt so a race shop so they adjust your suspension to your weight. I got it done and it's great!
