Default front fairing help

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-H...QQcmdZViewItem

This is the first time I've tried to put a link in a post so I hope this works. I want to buy this but the question I have is about the write-up of the item where it says "This fairing doesn't come with headlight meeting tabs". How much work doI have to relplace this with the one I have on my bike right now?

Maybeby meeting tab they mean mounting tabs?? just a thought. Are you planning on using this to replace the stock piece on your bike as a cheaper method rather than O.E.M.? I've found that aftermarket panels tend to have fittment issues. Just my two cents.

I personally wouldn't buy any fiberglass part to ride on the street... they have a tendency to spiderweb when they get hit with a stone and such... Sharkskinz has replacement farings that are ABS plastic (which your OEM part is made out of)... just my 2 cents though...

+1 on it saying "mounting tabs" some aftermarket parts won't come with holes drilled in them either...
