difference btw 01-03?

Default difference btw 01-03?

looking at buying an F4i 01. Used to have an F4
what's the difference btw F4i 2001 to 2003?

I heard the '02 has only 85 hp to the wheel, where as a good running '01 should put down 95. But I think that is only a myth. Otherwise only colors changed during those years, '04 is when they went to the banana seat.

not much, a change in to color of the farings, and (correct me if im wrong) they changed to the 1 pice seat in 03....

not a myth the 2002 f4i was tuned down for the interduction of the 2003 RR The 01 f4i the quickest of the stock f4i's, its basically the same specs as the RR almost.

on bikez.com I looked btw 01 and 02 and the 01 has -2hp +2 torque

just as a correction, 04 was the banana. 01-03 have the 2 piece.
