So during my morning commute about two weeks ago, all the electronics including the speedometers, tripmeter, mileage, tach, and fuel temp turned off. My headlights, taillights- they work, as well as the turn signal indicator, high beam indicator, and clock. Everything still runs fine, but I don't know how fast I'm going, what RPM i'm at, if i'm close to running out of fuel, etc. Anyone have suggestions on what is causing/caused this problem and how I might fix it? Basically thus far I've been lazy and only attempted to see if anything came unconnected, but I haven't removed the front cowl.

 

I would check fuses first, then go from there. Did you ever notice any smoke at all?
