Crashed, can it be fixed?

Yeah, I thought about that when I saw the bike. But what if I tried and couldn't save it? I walked away from the crash with a 1/4" scrape on my wrist. If I had hit that van at any speed over 10mph (head first, remember) I'd be in the hospital with neck injuries right now.

i am glad to hear that you are ok. i would like to see some pics though to see what you are talking about.

Man I got lucky. I got a call from the stealership today. I need a new upper cowl, stay, windscreen, mirror, and headlight. Forks are true, electronics are working, frame is straight.

They wanted $1400 for the parts; I told them to get it running and I'll take it back and do the rest myself.

I've got bids on ebay for all the parts for $340, total! Ebay rules. Although I am skeptical of a $20 windscreen...
