Default Corbin vs. Sargent. Vs. Gel insert

I've done the searches and have found tons of people saying the corbin is the way to go....What I'm trying to do is not comapre the corbin to the stock seat, but vs. the other two options.....I'm curious if anyone here has personally tried the sargent or Gel insert and decided the Corbin was the way to go.
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: The reason I ask is because I "tested" my seating position further back in the seat (where the corbin sits) and immediately noticed my wrists start loading up and more of a uncomfortable back arch. It almost felt like I was back on my FZR I just got ride of....Which had a Corbin seat BTW.

I have a Corbin and my buddy has a Sargent. The Sargent is definitely softer but the Corbinstill gets the job done better than stock. Never tried a gel pad.

corbin sux, I had one, it sits you further away from the bike and bothers your nads..youre best bet is to take a stock to an upholstry shop and have them add some padding, gotta be cheaper than a corbin

I like corbin, the only thing I dont like about it is that it is wider and pushes my thighs out a little further when trying to put my feet down. with the stock seat I can almost flat foot both feet. but with the corbin, I can only tip toe, or have to slide off one side to flat foot

Christhek, How is the seating position of his sargent vs. your corbin, vs. stock.. Obviously I know the seating in the corbin is further back, but what about the sargent? Did it sit like stock or like the corbin?

i have a corbin. Its great on long rides. The only thing i don't like is the cord trim around the edge when riding twisties. Not sure if its the shape of the seat i feel aftersliding around the seat or the trim.
I plan on having my seat rewrapped to eliminate that to see if it helps me.

idk if this applies but i have a sargent on my 929 and its very comfortable. a lil stiff @ 1st when you sit down but once you start riding you never notice it.

For me I actually prefer the stock seat over the corbin. Corbin is super comfy on the **** but for me it added straign on my back and overall I didn't enjoy the new riding position as much. I didn't feel as free to slide around the seet and I like sitting up front.

Both the Sargent and the Corbin push you back a little from what the stock setup is. But I don't find it uncomfortable on either and the difference in seting positon is overcome by the comfort of the seat itself. After 5 years on the stock seat the Corbin was an amazing difference in the way my legs and crotch felt when riding. No more painor pressure cutting off circulation.
