Default Common Tools

I am trying to piece together a nice little toolkit, (I know, I know, this isn't something that could be answered directly from a SEARCH), except I want to do away with things that are unnecessary. For the OG riders, what tools do you MOST find useful to have?

BTW, I know on my Mitsubishi Evo IX, there are a certain amount of sizes most nuts/bolts are, (hence why I carry those tools primarily). What are the sizes most primarily found on the '06 F4i?

did your bike come with the tool kit? It comes with about everything you need to take your bike apart.

OEM Parts Honda CBR600F4I (CBR600F4) 2001 TOOLS - Cheap Cycle Parts

I mainly use a 5mm allen wrench to take the fairings off and 22, 27mm sockets for the rear wheel.

I saw that site, unfortunately I cannot justify spending ~$150 on a tool kit when I've spent countless dollars in my garage for Craftsman/Snap-ON tools. I just wanted to know, what specific tools are the most commonly used? What are the general sizes for wrencehs/sockets on the F4i?

You can find some good kits on Ebay that are a fraction of the cost. Even if used and rusty, the kits are still good to have (and can be cleaned).

If your OEM bolts haven't been changed (fairing bolts to be specific), carry the two different size Allen wrenches for your year bike. (or just get a small, but not too small, Allen wrench set to carry), an adjustable wrench, flat and Phillips screw driver and the eye wrenches for your wheel nuts.

I carry an Allen wrench set, a Phillips/flat screwdriver set, small tire pressure gauge (important), and the eye wrenches for my wheel nuts. I have had to use the Allen wrench set plenty of times because my mirrors loosened on me after a long, joyous and fast ride. Most of these items can and should fit under your seat with no problem.

I also always have a very small backpack that is cargo net tied to my rear seat so I can carry pretty much whatever I need.
