When I bought my '06 rr the tool kit (which consists of 1 allen wrench lol) was under the rear seat. Is this where it goes? or is there somewhere else?

 

look under the right side mid fairing. there's a box there.

that's where it goes.

 

right fairing..... there is a black box with a key lock on top, use the key to open and there is a small bag of honda tools

 

or really anything flat. a coin or flat head driver works too.

I'm guessing you need to pop that clip out that is up top to open the side enough?

Hey well i just keep it under the seat cause in order to get to that box u have to take of the whole side panel. That's what I would suggest. Alot of the time when i ride around i carry a backpack and there are a couple tools in there just in case. I've never needed them but they came in handy more then a few times for other riders. Damn harley's always breakin down..

 

Yea i second that. I think u need to take the whole side off to get to them. Thats probably why there is an allen wrench under my seat so I can use that to get to the tools.
