Alright so the bike is getting ready to get sprayed and I'm kind of all over the board on how I want to paint it again. She's an 01 F4i. The original scheme was the black and silver. I had it painted while I was deployed to a dark pearl red which looked amazing. I had a wreck which is the cause of the repaint now. I loved the all pearl red but I have always thought that maybe a little something extra like a pinstripe would help it to shine even more. I have even gotten to the point where I'm not so sure about the color. Any recommendations at all from the crowd here? I know that I want a solid color, no OEM paint scheme or crazy graphics. Its been so long since I have seen it all put together I can't even imagine what the best accent would be.

I wanted to do my 01 the same color of blue that newer F4i's came with. Except minus the oem decals, just solid blue. I thought that would be cool since the 01 didn't come in that color, and it would look good with the black frame.

 

I dunno, I always thought a solid color F4i looks great. If it were me I would stick with the red pearl, or maybe a white pearl. keep it looking clean and simple

 

Is anybody on here any good with graphic design. I am very very curious to see what my 01 F4i would look like with the pearl red and a pearl white pin stripe running from the headlight point down the natural line of the bike. Does anyone think they can help me out here? Even just a red and white to see what the lines would look like. Sorry I know I sound like a lazy *** but I totally suck with stuff like this...I've tried. lol

 

Well my ole ladies F4i is the Red/white (whatever color scheme that is). And my 954rr is the European colors. The blue/black is the same color the newer F4i's are....=-)
