Default Clutch problems

So, I just put an aftermarket clutch in my bike. I put it all back together and, I cant get the clutch to engage now. Seems like I am having problems with the pull pin engaging the clutch. Idk....I am sick about it. Is there something I am missing??

Does your aftermarket clutch match your old in relation to the number of fibres n steels ? Where there any washers or rings on your existing set up, probably at the back of the hub ?

Some guys say it differently so when you say you cant get it to engage do you mean..

The bike wont move because the clutch wont engage, or

You cant stop the bike from moving because the clutch wont disengage when you pull the lever?

If you cant disengage the clutch (to shift gears, coast etc.. )

Make sure that when you put the clutch cover back on, that the groove in the cover was actually lined up with the notch on the pin.
You have to turn the lever on the cover about a half turn while putting the cover back on to make sure the pin sits in and gets locked to the lever in the cover.
Other wise when you pull the clutch lever on the bars, it wont pull on the pin.

Its a little tricky to get it in there. Ive missed a couple of times before.
If you mean the bike wont move I really cant think of anything off hand except maybe forgot to put a disc or two in? clutch stack wouldn't be thick enough and would likely just slip

Though Im guessing the first situation is the problem your having.

Sounds like you put your cover on wrong. But yeah aftermarket clutches suck too.
