Default clutch cable obstructing digital display

Is it only me or do others have this problem?
I find that at least the trip meter is always blocked, so I cant really keep a check on when I will next need to refuel.
Is there an elegant way to get the clutch wire out of the sightline to the digital tach?

I think the previous thread mentioned that you can use a wire hangar (just don't tell mommy dearest).

i used a wire and then colored it with a black magic marker, it looks very clean and was FREE!
