Default Clip ons?

I was wandering if any one knows if they make a set of clip ons (I hope that is what they are called.) that are angled down a little more than the stock ones. I want to move my pegs up and back an inch and would like to somehow lower the hand position as well. Thought about trying to move them below the triple clamp, but there will be major clearance issues while turning.

Sorry guys I should have searched more first. Found alot of threads on this already. Silly Rabbit!

i know a guy who swapped his f4i clip ons for r6 clip ons. i know they are lower... but im not sure about the angle.

actually, there is a thread on here from a guy who did the same thing. any year r6 that uses a 43mm fork should fit our bikes.

clip-ons are just another term for handlebars for sportbikes. They are short handles which connect to the fork tubes. The standard handlebars are one piece and attach to the triple tree.

asking for an F4i rider on another forum:

how is everyone mounting the Vortex clip-ons? He'd like to avoid moving the forks up or down (suspension is set up for the track, and he doesn't want to mess with it).

Mounting UNDER the triple is the desired position, but it's causing clearance issues with the fairing - anyone done this anyway? I doubt it would be a problem at speed, but "at speed" is not when you want to find out that it IS an issue!

Thanks!

yes it can be mounted under or in stock location.
both will give you some clearance issues.
both will require that ram air covers to be removed.
i run mine on top, it's plenty uncomfortable as is.
you don't want to mess with the forks. no need to raise the bike up or down for this.
if you install under, it will work for tracking, etc...but turning around in the pit, parking lot, etc. will be a pita because you lose turning radius because you will hit the fairing. i would only recommend this for the track.

From the original posting, I am assuming you haven't done anything like this before. Putting clipons on a bike is not the easiest thing in the world and involves some knowledge about your controls (you will have to take them off and reposition everything, possibly drill holes in the bars, etc). Often the biggest pain in the A is routing your cables so your throttle doesn't stick.
