I've been wanting to try Rotella, but the Walmart doesn't carry it in Full-syn at 15w or 25w-50.

You can try truck-stops and auto stores. Rotella 15W-50 synthetic is actually cheaper ($12 gal.) than 5W-40 ($20 gal.). Truck-stops will also be cheaper than Walmart. I wouldn't use a 25 weight unless you live in the Sahara or Death Valley or somewhere incredibly hot; too thick.

Yes, but it's mainly for large trucks (semis), usually located next to interstates. There are Pilot, Petro, Flying "J", Sapp Bros., TA, to name a few.

The heavy weight synthetics have all but disappeared. I currently use 5-40. The 08 honda manuals have gone to recommending 10-30.

I just checked shells site(manufacturer of rotella) and the only syn they have listed is
5-40 now.

I guess I will see how the lighter weight performs in South Georgia heat.

What about 15W-50 for the Summer (it's still in their website btw)? I've been even considering mixing 5W-40 & 15W-50; say half & half. Still not sure yet though.

15-50 dino is on their site, but I did not see 15-50 syn.
Either way mixing is not a big deal. You end up with 10-45?
