Default choosing a tinted windscreen

hi
Searched the ebay and found lots of windscreens, but what is the best one? Are they worth buying?

Thanks

i honestly think all windscreens are the same. Some say the double bubbles are meant to draw the wind away from your body but I rode my f4i with both stock and aftermarket windscreens and I honestly say they feel the same.

Only difference is looks. to me.

I only go about 70mph max on the freeway, maybe that's why. If you went faster, maybe you can really feel the difference but I wouldn't know.

they are all the same. it is all a sales pitch to make you buy and spend the extra money in buying the double bubble screen. I personally think it is all a look factor.

I honestly dont think its worth the money to pay for a new windscreen. Depending on how tall you are double bubbles will do nothing for you. I have ridin bike with and without them and with me being 6' they dont do anything for me, nor do i bend down enough to look through them. If you have a decent helmet and wear it, the wind really shouldnt be a fact if you stay under 80, which most people do most of the time. As far as looks go, I took mine off and painted it. I used a metallic black and a clear coat. It came out beautifully. It has a perfect fit because it is the stock screen(unlike some aftermarket that dont fit well). The only bad thing is you cant see through it, which doesnt bother me cuz I dont ever look through it anyway. I spent 8 dollars on making my windscreen look better while others spend up to 90. Its completely up to your style and the depth of your pockets. That is the end of my novel.

You could always use a "tint" paint like VHT Nightshade spray tint... Ive heard good things about it, tho Ive never used it. Plus you can see through it in case you actually use yours that way.

I wish i would have painted mine, instead i got my tinted one for xmas one year.

well, allow me to go agains't the grain...

IMO, i felt that the DB helped out with getting the wind off your chest a bit and not pick up your helmet. Also, in a half-tuck or ful tuck, the wind is almost not even there...

no sales gimick and i dont work for any of the manufactures... my honest review on using a zero gravity DB. It works. If you don't want to spend any money on something that you feel is cosmetic, go right ahead. , on the other hand, think its worth it and honestly, its not that pricey.

i like it i think it looks good regardless of the "performance gains"
it no different than other cosmetic upgrades so i would go for it... or at least paint it like f4itanner cuz i think black or tinted looks way better than clear

Everyone has their opinion and a different amount they want to invest into their bikes. I got one cuz I rode my friends bike and he had one, the primary advantage that I found is when riding on the Interstate at 75+ mph, the winds go over you more and you don't have to tuck under the windshield as much. It makes it more comfortable to ride longer distances at the higher speeds. If you only ride in town you will probably never see any effects of a double bubble. For the 40 bucks that I spent, a good investment for the money.
