No one here realizes those are just bar-end weights?
And no- the bolts won't break or snap off in a crash- use some common sense.

get the real ones, i have heard that the no cut sliders are worthless and actually pop off doing a crash/slide.

if you drop the bike, they will break off right away, and will do nothing. They're pointless. You have to bolt a quality slider to the frame with a strong bolt. That is garbage.

yea for the money i would just spend a little more and get some good ones and like everyone else said cutting the fairing is no big deal just as long as u make sure u use something to line up where the hole should go

anyone have, or recommend these? or know anything about them.

Yeah, I've got 'em and no, they are not bar-end weights.

They were cheap, they look pretty good, they matched a couple of other carbon-fiber accessories I have, I didn't need to have the fairings cut, and they installed in a few minutes.

No, they probably won't provide a ton of protection for the fairings (what slider really does anyway?) but it's probably enough to keep the frame straight in a driveway-drop or a low-speed low-side. I've seen tons of sportbikes with no sliders at all so I'd say this is better than nothing... and if they don't work (and I'm still alive), screw it, I'll get another bike.

Vortex, 6 crashes I think (lost count), high speed, low speed and I even dropped it in my driveway when I first started riding. Slider never bent at all and no major damage at all. Do that on those cheapass "sliders" and see what you get. Plus, as I said, look at the long thin aluminum fastener that thing bolts into, your adding leverage onto something weak that threads into your frame. Sorry but thats a recipe for disaster. It would be very easy for that slider itself to damage the frame even in a small drop or low speed crash.
