Default Frame Sliders & fairing modification pics

For those of you that have frame sliders on your F4i did you guys have to do some type of fairing modification? Post pics if you can.

Is there any way to have frame sliders that you can mount without modifying the fairings?

There are no cut frame sliders. But it is recommended to stay away from those.
Here is a very nice guide w/ pics on how to modify/cut the fairings for the frame sliders.

this is how you do it..take fairing off...line a laser up with center of bolt...replace fairing, drill a small (1/8" hole) ...repeat for other side...then take fairings off and drill out with a hole saw of the right size... nuff said

and....

VIOLA!!

Just did mine today btw...bought a neat little LED flashlight with a laser built into it

Very creative with the ladder. I used a laser that I mounted on my camera tripod. Same concept, different execution. I used a dremel to cut my fairings.

I mounted the bases (Vortex) and then mounted my fairings which left a impression in the foam on the back of the fairings. The I used a hole saw to cut the holes.
