So heres the info,

2002 cbr 600 f4i with just over 13k on it after a small lowside I have had battery/charging problems since. Took it over to a local dealership and had them take a look at it and they said she was charging at 15 and that the batt was fine but old (stock) so i bought a brand new one and installed it today.

Rode through town and went to a bbq went to go start it and the batt was dead again. ( I had made sure it was charged from factory... it was)

bump it ride it home and still nothing when I get here, now yesterday started right up every time, I think like 6 times. but today i only got one good start out of her.

upon attempted start lights dim/go out, gauges re-sync, clock resets etc, the normal dead battery stuff.

when i took my seat off i could hear the battery sizzling (if helpful)

Now I've herd that the R/R can go on these guys but is there a way I can test that or is it dealership only. Or do you think it may be my stator because the cover did take a little hit but didn't crack and has no leaks.
