Default Changing Spark Plugs

Hey guys, I picked up an F4i a couple months ago and I'm looking to change the plugs. Everything I've read mentions a magical tool that comes in the toolkit for getting the plugs out. My problem is that I dont have the toolkit, does anyone know if this is absolutely necessary to have or is there a socket that I can substitute. Thanks for any help.

you can use a sparkplug socket that fits the bike's plug size and a socket wrench extension attachment instead.

there is limited space already so you may want to go in from the top instead of from the front (airbox vs. radiator).

I just used a regular socket and ratchet. It will be easier to acces the plugs once the tank is removed, just be careful not to pinch any vacume lines when putting the tank back on because your FI light might come on

only "magical" tool i could think of would just be a plug socket its just longer to fit over the plug and has a little black rubber bushing in the stop if u look inside, but yea other than that not sure ive never changed plugs on a bike
