which CCTL easier maintainece?

Default which CCTL easier maintainece?

what's better and easy? OEM stock or APE auto or manual type?

i'll b sticking around for that answer. I read the CCTL sticky outta curiosity, and found out what that buzzing vibrating sound around 6k rpms was, can't believe with only 3k's i gotta replace that thing.

I just wonder if the APE auto or manual type is better just for the simple fact that if i replace it with the oem it just makes sense for it to happen again.

honda redesigned the auto one
it shouldnt happen again if u just go get the new part number

Unless they removed the spring from the "new" cct then that rattle sound is going to come back at some point in its lifetime. Obviously the auto OEM cct is going to require less maintenance but the manual is a one time purchase.

my oem went out at 4500 miles got replaced with another oem that wentout again at 9000 miles. I now have a ape manual.

I just put a new updated oem cctl but I took a punch and

put a dimle right by the tip on both sides. Think that would of

worked on the first one, but you need the tool to retract it

to put it back in. It was easy to do took a hour, runs so smooth now.

I run APE Manual CCTL. 7000 miles on it and running strong.
