Which is easier?
Alrighty so in truth ive neglected my cbr for as long as i can stand. she just sits in the garage staring at me like "fix me you bafoon and ride me!" I have her new rear tire sitting in the house and i got out today and pulled the rear wheel off. i was going to go ahead and replace the brake pads, and the wheel bearings BUT WHICH IS EASIER? to leave the old tire on and do it? or is it ok to get the new tire put on and have the new wheel bearing installed?

Gotta pull the rear wheel to do the bearings. Don't have to pull the wheel, to do the pads. So if you're gonna do it anyway, replace the bearings ,change the tire out, re-install wheel w/new bearings and tire, then address rear caliperpads.

turn the inner race of each bearing with your fnger. the bearings should turn smoothly and quietly. also check that the bearing outer race fits tightly in the hub. replace in pairs - honda manual
