Default CCT Replacement Question

I found a how-to on how to replace the cct on a Honda f4 and i was wondering if it is the exact same on a F4i. My main concern is removal of the gas tank, is there a gas shutoff valve like on the f4 that will allow me to remove the tank with fuel in it? Is there any difference at all between the two models. It looks to be a very simple process, definately not worth the 150-200 a shop would charge to do it.

i did not remove the tank!! there is no shutoff i know of since it is fuel injected. i just propped up the front of the tank with a piece of wood. make sure you put a towel on the bottom when it is propped up so you will not scratch anything!! just take your time because you will get frustrated because of the rediculous spot the cct is at. i also used the same how to it was a black and yellow cbr. good luck!!!

I lifted the gas tank the other day just to get a feel for what I am going to be up against, it sure is a tight space. I will probably just prop up the gas tank like you suggested, otherwise ill be siphoning the gas out of the tank. I am still waiting for my cct to arrive!!!
