Default CCT Question.

So i was replacing my CCT last night with a new OEM one, and when my friendwas handing it to me he pulled out the little pin that extended the rod. Is there any way to get that rod back in where it was or am i screwed and need to buy a new one?

when you pull the pin, you have about 8 seconds to throw the cctl before it explodes...muhahahah..

stick the pin back in there, feel for a groove (like a flat head screwdriver)...then turn it clockwise, the cctl shaft will retract, then push the pin in so that the --- on the pin falls into one of the crevice on the + on the rear of the cctl where the pin goes in.

That pin is kinda short and flimsy to use as a tool. Just stick a small screwdriver in there, wind it up, then hold the piston so it doesn't go back out when you remove the screwdriver, and put the pin back in. No biggy!
