Default CCT Install???

So thanks to a friend and a thourough search of the site I'm pretty sure I've diagnosed my rattle as a failed CCT. I'm fairly mechanically inclined (not gonna claim to be a mechanic) and would like to save the labor costs if I can and put it in myself. Has anyone installed on of an F4I before? I've heard its not easy but can be done. Anyone have tips, hints, or advice? It would be greatly apperciated.

I just paid for mine to be done and holy smoke..I never realised what a tractor I was driving..now that clattering at the most commonly seen revs (5K) has gone, I wish I had done it months ago. oh well

^Did you take any KY to the stealership when you picked your bike up. It only takes a couple hours and basic hand tools, mostly metric allen wrenches and a 10mm wrench (or socket)

There are several HOW TO CCT INSTALL writeups on this forum as well as many other forums. CBRworld.net had some great ones but it looks like the site is down right now. Google search F4i CCTL INSTALL and 20 useful pages come up.

Its pretty strait forward just make sure you have the right tools. just check the sticky for the adjusting process.

Flex head wrenchs and swivel sockets make it less painful
