Default CBR Shutting down mid-ride

I have a 2001 and lately when ever I hit a bump or every 5-8 min while riding on the highway or in the neighborhood my bike shuts off.
The dash lights are still on, so it's an engine problem. When this happens I have to push the starter button while coasting and hope that it re-starts.
So far it's restarted every time however sometimes it stalls and then the "warning" lights on the dash go off as if the bike were running, and as long as I hold the throttle the bike still excellerates, but when I come to a stop it idles at 0 RPMs. and then I have to restart it.
I let my bike warm up every time I ride just to be safe and make sure it's at the proper temp.
I think that there's a wiring problem in the kill switch or something. I don't know.

Has anyone else had this problem??
If so, what was wrong and what did you do to fix it?? HELP

I'm not familiar with bikes, but depending on your tip over sensor position it may be that. My bike was shutting off with the slightest movement from it the other day, but then again mine is hacked from the previous owner.

It definitely sounds like an electrical issue you have. Check battery terminals, check the tip sensor, also your kickstand switch could be failing. Does it fire right back up after it shuts off??

the bike starts up after failing yes. sometimes it takes a couple of trys but it's been starting. im worried im screwing up the voltage on the battery. Got my bike out of the shop literally 2 weeks ago when they checked the connection cables and wires through the bike and said everything looked good... they replaced my battery and mentioned that i might want to get my starter button un-sticky because i have to manually pull it out after pushing it in.

they said it wasn't necessary to get it replaced though.

After starting it back up after it stalls the engine doesnt run as rich..

Sounds like your battey or charging system are shot. When my bat died mid ride I barely made it home but that's because I held the starter button. But if you keep doing that your entire charging system will be shot soon
