Hi everyone,
I have a cbr fs which is the british version of the f4i. Every now and again it would start going a little bit sluggish and sound a bit like there was a leak from the exhaust. I checked all this out and there are no leaks. then the noise would go away within minutes. no its sounds like that all the time.and it is giving a pop every now and again.its not the fuel mixture because its just been on a dyno and the mixture is perfect. Its just had new plugs and air filter. Could the injectors need cleaning? and im not sure if there is a fuel filter in the tank because i cudnt see one underneath. any advice would very much appreciated. thanks alot

 

Could be that the 'O' ring sealsbehind the exhaust headersare not sealing correctly,would explain why noise is there from cold and as heat expands the headers the noise stops.Just a guess-check header fixing bolts are tight,also if you've removed the headers for any reason? you would need to replace these 'O' rings. Good luck.
