Pricing is all relative. If you buy a bike in prime season, you're looking at almost $1,000 more they can get for it, while the winter brings the price down next to nothing.
The GP shift on the F4i is nothing more than reversing it back to stock. It's literally 1 bolt if the sprocket cover is already off.
The price is still steep at $3,500 for 30k. I'd start talking him down from the $3,100 price. And even at that, the KBB value on the bike is much lower....but you have to remember it's prime season.
