CBR f4i 30k??!!?
Looking to buy a new f4i and i found a nice looking '03 but it has 30k on it.
It has a nice line-x paint job which looks nice, two brothers exhaust, new grips and 30k miles on it.....
kbb says around $3320 for the bike but thats with around 15k miles....
however the bike does have a two bros exhaust....
should i bother with a bike with 30k on it or what should i ask him to sell it for?!?!?!

line-x paint job huh? I saw one f4i on here with a rhino liner or something similar paintjob it looked pretty tough but that alone would make me want to pay a little less. 30k really isnt a big deal that bike has plenty of life in it. I dont really see miles as a BIG issue on bikes since usually theyre all less than 50k. Id pay more attention to how well its been maintained and serviced. Id pay more for a well maintained and properly serviced bike that had twice as many miles as a bike that was neglected and wasnt properly serviced. So ask the guy about the service history and all that, really take a close look at the bike, where he keeps it, etc. anything that can give you an idea as to how it was treated and stuff. Ask about how often he changed the fluids and such also. If it seems to be taken care of you shouldnt have any problems with it. Id start around $2600 maybe and see where hell meet you at. $3000 would prob be the most id even consider. Shop around anyway though and see if you can get a better deal unless you have your heart set on this one.

the guy was advertising it for 3500...however he said he could drop the price...i just dont know how much. He said something about the exhaust pipe too.
Something like it worked fine but may have a slight bend or something i'd have to ask again.
It also has the moto-gp shifter which gives the bike a 1-up 5-down shift pattern which may make the bike harder to sell since most people would rather have the 1 down 5-up
should i offer like 2700 and see how low he'll go?!?! I dont know much about the line-x paint job he put on it...but i was on line-x's website and they do make coating for like atv's and stuff which is what im sure is similar to what he used

Got my 01 last summer with 4200 miles, mint condition, for $3000. Be patient. Get something with less miles and without mods, so you can put what you want on it, and learn about your bike at the same time. Plus, if that Line-X wasn't prepped properly, it'll start flaking off soon. Who knows if it's really Line-X or how it was put on. I'd pass. Who cares if it has a Two Bros exhaust.
