Default Turn signal rapid flashing

Hi Guys i have just installed my hotbodies LED Signal lights on the front of my f4i, and now all four signals are flashing really fast, the dash light is also fast.

is this a relay issue or a earthing, im not really sure were to start

leds require less power to pulse so ur flash rate goes up... If you don't like this then you can buy a flash rate controller

but it's not a problem and won't hurt anything

For the first time ever Z is right +1 (Just kidding Z)

If you add aftermarket signals you have to add a resistor or they will flash like crazy. I have all four aftermarket signals and no resistors in it. They flash like a mad man but I have no intentions of adding and resistors to it.

+1 Faster Blinking FTW!

But that is making a HUGE assumption that they cager will even see you to begin with. I had an ambulance run me out of my lane the other day on the beltway. A freakin ambulance...comon now

they also sell replacement relays that are plug-n-play, designed for use with led signals.

^Those are only a couple of dollars. Well worth it IMO.

I had a faster rate, never really complained about it. I'd always just turn my signals off anyway once a car was behind me in the turn lane, so it didn't drive them nuts.

I agree. I had the resistors but intentionally removed them for the faster blink rate.
