Default can you disassemble f4i mirrors?

I have two mirrors that have broken parts. If i were able to put the good parts together I could make a great condition mirror. Anyone know if I can break them down? and if so, what extent. Also, I really need to sell my bike. Am I allowed to post in the new for sale section in the f4i sub-forums?

Maybe get some fine tip screwdrivers and pry off the mirror?? I was wondering the same thing because my right mirror vibrates like crazy resulting in blurry reflections, left mirror is fine though

Try to pop off the mirror and let me know how it goes before i do mine lol

Im thinking once you get the mirror out there should be some type a screw/bolt to get the mirror casing off the shaft,,

After looking at this ebay auction, it looks like there is a small hole on the bottom of the mirror. small screw maybe?? COULD THIS BE A WAY OF REMOVING THE MIRROR?!?!

I cant wait to get home and check!

I picked up a imitation CF set for like 27 bucks shipped. Looks better with the bike IMO, still holds position just as well, however vibrates and gets the blur going, but honestly, I just want to be able to see if there's a vehicle, or red and blue, not make and model. Plus, we've been blessed not only with opposable thumbs, but necks that can spin as well.
